A printer is only one part of the story. The ink and the label material also decide whether your label stays legible in the freezer, on the factory floor or outdoors on a drum. That is why Aladin Code supplies all three together.

Aladin Code was founded in 2006 by Michel Grauwen, who had already spent sixteen years in the labelling world by then. That experience goes into every piece of advice today: you speak directly to the person who will later install and maintain the printer.

Selection guide — five short questions
You do not need to know any specifications to choose the right industrial label printer. Answer five questions about your label and your production, and you will know which of our models suits you — with the reasoning alongside.
Question 1 of 5
01
The volume decides how heavily the printer has to be built — and whether it keeps up with the pace of your production.
02
Moisture, refrigeration and chemicals each place their own demands on the ink and the material.
03
A shipping label lives for days. An industrial rating plate has to still be there years later.
04
This is the most decisive detail: the width rules models out outright. GHS labels in the chemicals industry are usually at least A5 (148 mm).
05
All four printers work with any material — as long as it has an inkjet coating. Under that coating almost anything is possible.

Ink & labels
Then the real work starts: the right labels every week and new ink on time. Aladin Code supplies both — in all standard sizes, cut to measure, in any material, and always suitable for the printer you have.

Industries
A GHS label has to meet rules that an ordinary product label never sees, and a pharmaceutical pack carries different data on every box. Those two industries are our centre of gravity, and that is where we supply printers, ink and labels most often.
GHS-compliant labels that meet the international safety standards — resistant to chemicals, UV and outdoor storage, and printed to BS5609.
View this industryShort runs with high accuracy, and variable data on every pack — from batch number to expiry date, flawlessly legible.
View this industryWe supply these industries just as readily:
Freezer- and moisture-resistant labels, use-by dates and changing packaging.
Colour labels where the finish of the label helps sell the product.
Labels that shrug off condensation, refrigeration and transport.
Product, shipping and identification labels, printed in house from now on.

How we work
Moving to printing labels in house does not have to be a project of months.
What volume do you print per day, on which material, and does the label go indoors or outdoors? Those questions decide the choice — not the brochure.
Not a list of options, but the printer that fits. On request we print a sample of your own label beforehand, so you have the result in your hands.
We install the printer at your premises in Belgium and the Netherlands, and stay available afterwards for ink, labels and maintenance.

Is your question not here? Feel free to ask —you will get a personal answer
That depends on four things: how wide your label is, how many you print per day, where the label ends up and how long it has to stay legible. Our selection guide walks you through those questions in five steps and gives a reasoned recommendation. Prefer to talk it through straight away? Send us your situation and you will get personal advice.
We work with prices on request, because the cost depends on your volume, your labels and the accessories you need. More important than the purchase price is the cost per label: you pay that again every month. We work out both with you beforehand.
Yes. For that you need pigment ink, certified label material and a machine with enough print width. The NeuraLabel Callisto meets the BS5609 standard and prints up to 296 mm wide — the model we recommend for GHS labelling.
That depends on whether the machine is in stock or has to be ordered. Allow about a week; we agree the exact term at the moment you order.
You are always welcome for ink and labels, even without a machine from us. Maintenance and repairs we only carry out on printers you bought from us.
Yes. Send us your design with the size and material you want, and we will print a sample so that you have the result in your hands before you decide.
