What sets this model apart
Why businesses choose the Callisto.
BS5609-compliant GHS labels
Tested for 90 days of immersion in salt water, for UV exposure and for abrasion resistance. The only model in our range that meets this standard at the widest format.
Up to A3 width
Prints labels from under 25 mm up to 296 mm wide on the same machine. Where other models stop at 216 mm, the Callisto carries on.
Up to 27 metres per minute
18 inches per second, or 90 feet per minute. Short and medium runs are ready in minutes, even at full colour coverage.
Pigment ink that holds up
Water- and chemical-resistant: it stands up to alcohol, acetone and other aggressive substances. Your label stays legible where dye ink gives up.
1200 × 4800 dpi
Sharp barcodes, fine warning pictograms and colour areas that stay even — on synthetic materials too.
Roll or fanfold
Works with roll media and with fanfold, and integrates with SAP, NiceLabel, BarTender and Loftware. No new label software needed.

Ink, labels & accessories
A printer is only the beginning.
The real work is in what goes through it every week afterwards. Aladin Code supplies the ink, the labels and the accessories that belong with this machine — so that you have one point of contact instead of three.
Ink for the Callisto
The Callisto works with its own CMYK pigment cartridges. These are model-specific: cartridges from an Afinia printer do not fit, and vice versa. We supply replacements, so that you never come to a standstill.
- Four separate cartridges: cyan, magenta, yellow and black
- Yield of 16,000 (CMY) to 17,000 (K) standard pages
- Water-based pigment ink — required for BS5609 labels
- Service tray with 800 printhead wipers as a consumable part
Labels for the Callisto
Which label you need depends on your application and not on your printer. One condition always applies: the material has to have an inkjet coating. What sits underneath — paper, PP or PE — you decide together with us.
- All standard sizes and labels cut to measure
- Inkjet-coated paper, PP and PE
- BS5609-certified material for GHS labelling
- Widths up to 305 mm, on the roll or as fanfold
Accessories
Unwinders, rewinders and maintenance parts that complete the production around this machine. We supply and maintain those too.
- Unwinders and rewinders from Labelmate for roll-to-roll production
- Roll-to-roll systems and enclosure from NeuraLabel
- Spare service tray and maintenance materials
In practice
What this machine looks like in a business.
Three situations from industries where we install this printer most often — each starting with the problem it began with.
Chemicals industry
Vandael Chemicals, a producer of industrial cleaning products in the Kempen region
The situation
Vandael had its GHS labels printed by an outside printing house. Every change to a formulation meant ordering a new run, with a two-week wait and boxes full of obsolete labels as a result.
Why this machine
With the Callisto, Vandael now prints its A4-wide hazard labels itself, on BS5609-certified material. A change to a formulation is now an adjusted file instead of a new order.
Pharmaceutical industry
Noordveld Pharma, a producer of veterinary medicines
The situation
Every batch has its own lot number, expiry date and language version. The runs are short — sometimes 200 labels — but the demands on legibility and traceability are high.
Why this machine
The Callisto prints variable data straight from their existing label software, with barcodes that stay sharp at 1200 dpi. Short runs are ready in minutes with no minimum order.
Industrial manufacturing
Kempen Metaalwerken, a supplier of machine parts
The situation
Rating plates and identification labels had to stay legible for years on parts stored in the open air. Paper labels faded within a single season.
Why this machine
On synthetic material with pigment ink, the labels do stand up to UV and rain. The wide print width makes it possible to combine plate and logo on a single label.
The examples above are fictional. They are based on situations we come across in practice, but the company names are invented.
Frequently asked questions
What customers ask us about this model.
Is your question not here? Feel free to email —info@aladincode.com
Can I print GHS labels that meet BS5609 with the NeuraLabel Callisto?
Yes. The Callisto prints with water-based pigment ink and so meets the BS5609 standard: 90 days of immersion in salt water, UV exposure and abrasion resistance. The condition is that you use certified label material — we supply that with it.
How wide can a label be?
The Callisto prints labels from under 25 mm up to 296 mm wide, and handles media rolls up to 305 mm. That makes it the only model in our range that can manage A3-wide labels; the Afinia models stop at 216 mm.
What is the delivery time?
That depends on whether the machine is in stock or has to be ordered. Allow about a week; we agree the exact term at the moment you order.
How much maintenance does the printer need?
In principle we only step in when there is a problem. We do recommend a yearly service: we then replace anything showing wear as a precaution, so that you are not held up at the wrong moment.
What happens if it breaks down?
We are usually on site within two working days. If your production is at a standstill and it is urgent, we try to be quicker. Warranty we arrange in consultation with the manufacturer.
Is installation included, and do I get an explanation with the machine?
We always charge for installation separately, because the cost depends on the distance. Explanation and instruction on delivery are simply part of it: you will not be left without knowing how the machine works.
Can I get a test print of my own label beforehand?
Yes. Send us your design with the material and size you want, and we will print a sample so that you have the result in your hands before you decide.

What does the NeuraLabel Callisto cost in your situation?
That depends on your volume, your labels and the accessories you need. Tell us those three and you will get a concrete proposal — not a guide price out of a catalogue.
We fill in the subject of your message with NeuraLabel Callisto for you.
